Shipping Policy

All SLYSTEEL products are shipped and insured via UPS or USPS. Please inspect your product thoroughly before receiving or signing for your package. By signing for a package you are signing a legal document stating that you have inspected the products shipped to you from us and that they are in good condition. Once you have received or signed for your package we have no further recourse. Therefore, in the event that you notice any damage after you have received or signed for your SLYSTEEL package you must file a claim with UPS or USPS respectively.

If you do notice damage to the product during inspection, refuse the package and note the damage on the bill of lading. Afterward please contact us at your earliest convenience so we can begin the process for replacement. It is common for UPS and USPS to leave packages on your doorstep if no one is available to receive and sign for the package. To avoid getting packages stolen from your doorstep, we strongly encourage you to monitor the progress of the shipment with your tracking number so you can make arrangements to receive and inspect the package.

For UPS claims regarding stolen packages or damage noticed after being received or signed for, please contact UPS via 1-800-PICK-UPS and provide them your tracking number when you file your claim.

International Shipping

Please inquire for international shipments. All international shipments are subject to longer shipping times. Please know that any local taxes or fees, including customs clearance are not included in the purchase price or shipping charges. International customers are responsible for any taxes or fees charged by their local or national government. Please check local authorities for import restrictions or for current rates and fees prior to purchasing from us.

Return Policy

Customized SLYSTEEL products cannot be returned for refund. Otherwise, unused SLYSTEEL knives that have shipped can be returned with prior authorization. Upon inspection, if an authorized return is found to be in new, unused condition, we will issue a refund via your original payment method. Items must be returned within 30 days of the original purchase date, in the original packaging and in new unused condition.

Additionally, if the return is not due to an error on our part, returned product is subject to a 20% restocking fee and must be returned by you with prepaid shipping. Original shipping charges paid by you are not refundable. Please be aware that customized knives are not returnable or refundable. Packages that are refused at your door are subject to this return policy and any return shipping charges may also be deducted from your final refund. Please know that we do not offer any form of account credit or exchange in lieu of return.

Please understand that our purpose in charging for restocking is due to the cost of labor for processing and shipping products. Companies that do not charge these fees often absorb such costs by charging higher prices for their products. Doing so leads to an increased cost for all customers rather than the few that claim an authorized return.
